From the outside, the bar looks modest and doesn’t try to lure you in with flashy signs or anything alike. When you first enter the bar, you’ll immediately notice the goth-like vibe inside. Not in any way uncomfortable though, lights are dimmed, the artwork includes that of incredible tattoo artists, and the staff is dressed in black. However, this particular look of the staff members makes them look very interesting. Luckily, they’re not shy for conversation which almost makes it feel as if you’re in a small community consisting of the 60 people inside the bar. The menu is kept concise but is inspired by numerous recipes that were nearly forgotten. Santos y Desamparados is open on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays from 6:00 pm until 3:30 am.
